Bio:
Shayne has been the bassist for 10 o'clock Curfew since the formation of the group. Being chosen to play bass for the Ayala High School Jazz Ensemble in his freshman year, Shayne was the obvious choice for 10 o'clock Curfew.
Shayne has been playing bass for three years and has played in many groups including the Ayala High School World-Class Percussion Ensemble, the World-Champion Ayala Concert Ensemble, and other various metal, rock, and jazz groups. His original musical preferences were rock and metal, but after taking private lessons, he was introduced to
jazz and took a liking toward it.
His musical influences include Jaco Pastorious, Cliff Burton, Steve Harris, and Victor Wooten. He listens to artists ranging from Metallica and Iron Maiden, to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Incubus. Some of his other favorites include Rush, Dave Matthews Band, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, and countless others.
Shayne continues to do what he loves, and plans to take a career doing just that.
